Search Atlas, the AI-powered SEO and marketing platform used by more than 30,000 customers and 5,000 agencies worldwide, has announced a native Slack integration for Search Atlas Coworker, its AI teammate designed to manage SEO and OTTO tasks across client sites.
Search Atlas Coworker was built to allow marketers and agencies to delegate SEO execution the way they would to a human teammate - describing a task in plain language and letting Coworker carry it out inside the Search Atlas platform. Previously, that workflow required working inside the Search Atlas dashboard. With this launch, teams can connect Coworker directly to Slack and manage the same work from within their existing conversations, with Search Atlas publishing dedicated setup guidance to help teams configure their workspace correctly.
Once connected, Coworker can be used in shared channels or in direct messages, depending on how a team prefers to operate. Agencies managing multiple client sites can bring Coworker into the channels where client work already takes place, keeping requests and results visible to everyone on the account. In-house teams can keep it in a private direct message for day-to-day tasks. Workspace admins receive dedicated permission controls to manage who can access Coworker and what it is allowed to interact with across connected accounts. Search Atlas has also published guidance on how Coworker handles data and permissions for teams that need to review those details before rolling it out organization-wide.
The Slack integration supports Routines, Coworker's automated recurring reports, allowing teams to receive standing SEO and OTTO updates directly in Slack rather than checking the dashboard manually. Search Atlas has also resolved a previously reported issue that prevented users from deactivating or deleting Coworker's scheduled jobs, giving teams full control over active processes at any given time. Coworker is additionally available through a WordPress plugin for teams that connect their sites that way, and Search Atlas has published guidance on how the plugin interacts with OTTO site quotas across multiple domains.
For teams getting started, Search Atlas has published a library of example prompts and use cases illustrating what Coworker can handle out of the box - from auditing technical SEO issues to drafting on-page recommendations. That resource is accompanied by guidance on when to use Coworker versus the standard Search Atlas dashboard, a troubleshooting guide for common Slack connection issues, and a frequently asked questions resource covering how connected apps, approval steps, and Coworker's capabilities work in practice for both in-house teams and agencies managing multiple client accounts.
"Most SEO work dies in a queue somewhere between the strategy and the person who has time to execute it," said Arman Advani, Partner at Search Atlas. "Putting Coworker in Slack closes that gap. The work gets assigned in the same place the team already talks about it, and it gets done without anyone having to open another tab."
The Search Atlas Coworker Slack integration is available now to Search Atlas customers and can be connected from the Coworker settings inside the platform.
