Corey Davis, Ph.D. Joins Firm as Managing Director, Senior Equity Analyst

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Seaport Global Securities LLC (“Seaport Global”), a full-service investment bank, today announced that Corey Davis, Ph.D. has joined the firm as a Managing Director and Senior Equity Analyst in its New York office. Corey has over 20 years of experience covering biotechnology and specialty pharmaceutical companies with a special focus on central nervous system (CNS) related disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and all forms of pain, as well as dermatology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, and pulmonology.

Previously, Corey was Managing Director in Equity Research at H.C. Wainwright. Prior to that, he spent two years at Canaccord Genuity, four years at Jefferies and three years at Natixis Bleichroeder. He began his career in 1997 at Hambrecht & Quist and remained for nine years as the firm became JP Morgan through acquisitions. He received a BA in Biology from Middlebury College and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University.
