Sadis Wins FINRA Arbitration Award of Over $956,000 Against Interactive Brokers
NEW YORK, March 19, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Sadis & Goldberg won a two-week FINRA arbitration against Interactive Brokers LLC ("IB"), on behalf of two Dubai-based commodities firms. The FINRA Panel awarded Sadis's clients over $956,000 in damages and prejudgment interest.
The FINRA Panel was so convinced by the merits of Sadis's legal position that it took the extra step of requiring IB to pay 100% of the FINRA hearing fees. Sadis persuaded the Panel that IB was at fault for incorrectly processing a corporate action.
Sadis has now won two of the three largest FINRA Arbitration Awards against Interactive Brokers. Sadis has also won the largest FINRA Award ever against IB.
Sam Lieberman led Sadis's arbitration team, which included Ben Hutman. Should you have any questions about the case or need counsel in any securities arbitration or litigation, please contact Mr. Lieberman at [email protected].
