NO. BILLERICA, Mass., Oct. 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Mass-Vac, Inc., a distributor for NAVAC Inc., has introduced a new line of quiet-running and economical small vacuum pumps for applications such as distillation, freeze drying, vacuum ovens, and glove boxes.

NAVAC EcoDrive Series Vacuum Pumps are dual-stage oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps featuring variable-frequency permanent magnet DC motors that run quietly and require 40% less energy than conventional vacuum pumps. These small vacuum pumps incorporate a diamond-like carbide coating on all internal parts for optimum corrosion resistance and come in six models with capacities from 2.5 CFM for the model ED4 up to 18 CFM for the model ED30.

Featuring an anti-suck back design that protects the vacuum system from contamination caused by oil back-streaming, NAVAC EcoDrive Series Vacuum Pumps have an adjustable gas ballast to allow for different condensable gas exhaust requirements. Compact and lightweight, these small pumps range from 16.3" x 6" x 12.2" (ED4) to 23.9" x 7.4" x 11.8" (ED30), weigh from 29.7 to 66 lbs. and run at 53 dB (ED4 - ED12) and 58 dB (ED16 - ED30).
