Ridwan Obaray Joins Perella Weinberg Partners as Managing Director

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Perella Weinberg Partners (“PWP”) announced today that Ridwan Obaray has joined the Firm as a Managing Director. Based in New York, Mr. Obaray will provide strategic and financial advice to clients in the healthcare sector.

Mr. Obaray joins PWP after a decade at UBS, where he most recently served as a Managing Director on the Global Healthcare team advising clients across the Healthcare IT, pharmaceutical services, distribution, pharmacy benefit managers, and managed care segments. Prior to that, he was a member of the Healthcare, Consumer and Retail Group at J.P. Morgan from 2007 to 2009, where he worked previously with several senior members of PWP’s Healthcare team. He began his banking career in J.P. Morgan’s hedge fund advisory and alternative investments group in 1999. Mr. Obaray earned a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
