Rich Gannon Joins HomeServe USA as CFO

NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- HomeServe USA (HomeServe), a leading provider of home repair solutions, announced the recent appointment of Rich Gannon as Chief Financial Officer. Gannon is responsible for leading the Company’s finance function and overseeing accounting, M&A, financial planning & analysis, sourcing, tax and financial systems operations.

Gannon brings an extensive record of professional accomplishments having successfully led operations and finance divisions for major corporations over the course of his career. For the past two years Gannon served as Chief Operating Officer for Consumer Reports, the world’s largest and most trusted nonprofit consumer organization, and prior to that he was the company’s Chief Financial Officer for ten years. Before joining Consumer Reports in 2003, Gannon held a series of senior leadership positions at Gartner Inc., with executive roles including Chief Operating Officer for Research & Advisory Services, North America Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Controller.

Gannon is a CPA and developed his accounting and reporting skills during his 8 years working at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He serves on the board of directors for Silver Hill Hospital and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
