RethinkFirst Appoints Michael Schmidt as Chief Operating Officer

Executive brings proven leadership and operational expertise to accelerate strategic growth

A highly respected leader with more than 25 years of experience, Schmidt joined RethinkFirst in early 2025 to help establish and lead the company's first project management office and spearhead key initiatives across customer success and revenue cycle management (RCM).

Prior to joining RethinkFirst, Schmidt served as chief human capital officer at Ventiv Technology, where he led global initiatives and enterprise projects that improved the company's profitability and organizational agility. There his leadership extended well beyond human resources, focusing on business integration, performance optimization and transformation strategy. Earlier in his career, Schmidt held executive roles at AlphaPoint, Nasdaq and Bloomberg BNA, where he spearheaded initiatives that supported scalability, global expansion and cultural integration during periods of rapid growth and evolution. Schmidt earned a degree in Business Administration and holds multiple human resources certifications.
