Renowned Economist Austan Goolsbee Joins Analysis Group as Academic Affiliate

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Analysis Group, one of the largest economics consulting firms in North America, welcomes Austan Goolsbee, former Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers for the Obama Administration and a member of the President’s cabinet, as Academic Affiliate.

Well known for his work shaping U.S. tax and economic policy, Dr. Goolsbee has held other key roles in the Obama administration over the past two terms, including serving on the Panel of Economic Advisers to the Congressional Budget Office, on the U.S. Census Advisory Commission, and as a special consultant for Internet Policy to the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice.

Currently, Dr. Goolsbee is the Robert P. Gwinn Professor of Economics at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In addition, he serves on the Economic Advisory Panel to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, is a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Digital Economy Board of Advisors, and is a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
