Postmedia to Relaunch All 92 Community Websites This Summer

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Postmedia Network Inc. (“Postmedia”) today announced the redesign and relaunch of 92 community newspaper websites this summer with the first 12 now live.

“Our newly redesigned community newspaper websites have all been upgraded with richer visuals, quicker response times, video content, and an overall better user experience,” said Gerry Nott, Senior Vice President, Content, Postmedia. “Visitors will find new features and easier navigation while continuing to connect to their trusted local experts.”

Visually, the individual websites have been updated with branding that reflects each of the mastheads they represent. Enhanced user features include:

• Better user experience on any device
• More content from the Postmedia Network, covering more issues
• Immersive content experience that puts images and video at the forefront
• Increased engagement with improved integration of related content

Advertisers too will benefit from exciting new ad opportunities, better ad viewability and greater user engagement.

All 92 new websites were designed and developed in-house by Postmedia’s product development team. The launches are being supported by an on-network ad campaign produced in-house by Postmedia’s marketing team.
