ParkSwiz Goes Live with a Disney World Planner That Rebuilds Your Day in One Tap

Orlando, United States - September 10, 2026 / ParkSwiz LLC /

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 9, 2026 - ParkSwiz launched its iPhone app on the U.S. App Store and opened its full service at parkswiz.com. The planner covers Walt Disney World from start to finish - from selecting dates and parks to navigating the next move inside the gates - addressing a planning process that many families describe as overwhelming.

That process has grown increasingly complex, with forum threads, crowd calendars, wait-time boards, pricing charts, multiple apps, and often conflicting guidance on Lightning Lane, Disney's paid express option. ParkSwiz analyzes that information and delivers answers in plain language: what to do next, and the reasoning behind it.

"Planning a Walt Disney World visit had clearly crossed the acceptable level of overwhelm for too many people, even regular visitors," said Marc Kirschner, founder of ParkSwiz. "And as AI tools began to proliferate, they seemed to compound the stress and confusion with critically inaccurate information. Every day it seems someone launches a new AI planner that regurgitates the same outdated information, which is then shared into forums, which then feeds back into the AI."

ParkSwiz took a different approach, building its own knowledge base of more than 35,000 pieces of Disney planning information, reviewed and updated as the parks change, along with more than 300 planning guides. Swiz, the ParkSwiz concierge, answers plain-language questions drawn from that knowledge base and live park data, and links to its sources. When park policies change, the knowledge base is updated accordingly. The ParkSwiz proprietary system interprets that data and converts it into advanced features tailored to each planning party's profile.

A trip profile captures ages, characters the children are hoping to meet, must-do rides, dietary restrictions, and mobility and sensory needs - including Disney's Disability Access Service (DAS) and wheelchair and electric conveyance vehicle (ECV) use. Every subsequent recommendation, from which restaurant to book to which ride to skip, draws on that profile. All accessibility guides are available at no cost, with no usage limits, on every plan.

As the plan develops, ParkSwiz's Trip Planner builds a day-by-day itinerary matched to the group, factoring in accommodations, lodging, budget, and must-dos. As park days approach, the ParkSwiz optimizer converts that itinerary into a live schedule built from ParkSwiz's proprietary wait-time projections, the family's restaurant and extras bookings, transportation options, and arrival time. Inside the park, the schedule reorders as wait times shift. Families check the app, make a decision, and move on.

The Swiz platform extends beyond trip planning. The mobile app functions as a personal in-park concierge. Ask where to find the nearest Dole Whip or a nearby lunch spot with lighter options, and it directs the family to the closest locations. Swiz is designed to answer questions families do not know to ask until the moment arises - whether a parade route will block the path to a reservation, or which nearby attraction has a short line while the group still has energy.

The ParkSwiz system carries the trip from initial planning through day-of execution on the mobile app. Swiz produces a data-driven Lightning Lane strategy fitted to each group's plan and profile. When a ride goes down mid-afternoon, one tap rebuilds the remainder of the day around it.

Key features

  • A live schedule that reorders without starting over. One tap replans what remains, preserving rides already completed and Lightning Lane times already secured.
  • Plain-language questions answered by Swiz. "Can my son do Space Mountain? He's in a wheelchair." Answers are drawn from the ParkSwiz knowledge base and live park data, with sources linked.
  • Whole-day wait projections, with published accuracy. Across 20,981 hourly comparisons at all four parks from July 22 to Sept. 1, 2026, 76.5% of ParkSwiz projections landed within 10 minutes of Disney's posted wait and 48.4% within five.
  • Lightning Lane guidance from ParkSwiz's own data. What a pass delivers in saved time, ride by ride, and whether it is worth it on a given date.
  • Accessibility advice free on every plan. Transfer requirements, sensory guidance, and accessibility accommodations, with no usage limits.
  • A knowledge base ParkSwiz builds and maintains. More than 35,000 park facts and more than 300 planning guides. Entries record hours, prices, height requirements, and policies - each one dated, reviewed, and corrected as the parks change.
  • A trip profile behind every recommendation. Ages, characters, must-do rides, dietary restrictions, mobility and sensory needs, including DAS and ECV use.
  • An in-park concierge on the phone. The nearest Dole Whip, a healthier lunch option nearby, whether the parade route blocks the path to a reservation.
  • A community flywheel. Contributions and corrections feed the knowledge base, and ParkSwiz's own audits catch what they miss, so an incorrect entry gets corrected rather than repeated in the next answer.

ParkSwiz is free to start, including daily Swiz questions and trip plans. Higher use limits and advanced functionality - such as the ParkSwiz optimizer - are available for an introductory price of $2.99 for a 24-hour Day Pass or $8.99 for a single month. An annual plan is $19.99.

ParkSwiz launches with Walt Disney World. Data collection has begun at Universal Orlando, LEGOLAND Florida, and SeaWorld Orlando.

Kirschner is based in Orlando. He founded TenduTV, the first company to distribute dance performances on digital platforms, and co-founded Marquee TV, the subscription streaming service for the performing arts.

ParkSwiz for iPhone is available on the U.S. App Store at apps.apple.com/us/app/parkswiz/id6788440773. The full service is available at parkswiz.com.
