On August 3, 2022, Ping Identity announced that it had entered into an agreement to be acquired by Thoma Bravo in an all-cash deal with an enterprise value of $2.8 billion. Pursuant to the merger agreement, Ping Identity shareholders to receive $28.50 in cash for each share they own. The deal is scheduled to close in the fourth quarter of 2022.
