PECO Pallet Appoints Eric Sobanski as Chief Operating Officer

25-year supply chain veteran to lead North American operations.

ITASCA, Ill., Oct. 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- PECO Pallet, Inc., which operates one of North America's largest pooled pallet rental networks, has named Eric Sobanski, Ph.D. as chief operating officer.

Dr. Sobanski previously served as PECO's senior vice president of operations. A veteran of more than 25 years in the supply chain industry, he brings extensive experience in operational roles and expertise in lean continuous improvement management to his new position. As the company's chief operating officer, he will oversee strategic planning, operational execution, procurement, team development and customer service across PECO's network of pallet depots and service centers in North America.

Prior to joining PECO in 2018, Dr. Sobanski was vice president of operational excellence at the Brink's Co. He also held leadership roles at XPO Logistics and Menlo Worldwide Logistics. 

He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Kettering University, and both a master's and Ph.D. in industrial engineering from Oklahoma State University. He also is a graduate of the U.S. Department of Defense, National Defense University's Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy in Washington, D.C., where he earned a master's degree in national resource strategy.
