Nick Boulle Joins Era for Battle on the Bricks

DALLAS, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nick Boulle of deBoulle Diamond and Jewelry, an independent jewelry salon in Dallas and Houston, is making his way to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend, September 18-20, to compete in the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Boulle is making his Era Motorsports debut alongside co-driver Christian Rasmussen in the No. 18 ORECA 07 LMP2. Team members will rotate in and out of the car during this two-hour, forty-minute IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship event, with the official race time taking place from 2:10 - 4:50 p.m. CT Sunday, September 20. 

"I have been out of an LMP2 car and competition for a year, so it may take me a bit to warm up, but I'm super excited by the challenge we have coming up this weekend," Boulle says. 

"I'm particularly looking forward to getting to work with Era Motorsport. I know Kyle Tilley puts together a great car, and the team has clearly executed well in the past, so this was an opportunity we couldn't pass up." 

On a 14-turn, 2.439-mile road course in a race that is measured by time rather than laps, the atmosphere becomes highly competitive, fitting for the Motorsport Capital of the World.

"This coming together for Indianapolis Motor Speedway could not have worked out better," Boulle says. "It's an iconic circuit that also happens to be one of my favorite tracks." 

The weekend-long championship celebrates racers from across the world in four classes of motor vehicles, enhancing the competition with varying speeds and course traffic. 

Festivities begin this Friday, September 18.
