Earns Two Top-10 Spots in S&P Global Market Intelligence Ranking for Best-Performing Banks of 2016
DALLAS, April 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- NexBank Capital, Inc. placed in the top 10 in two categories in the latest S&P Global Market Intelligence ranking of the best-performing community banks with $1 billion to $10 billion in assets. NexBank Capital, Inc. ranked fifth in the nation based on pretax return on equity and ranked as the tenth best-performing community bank in the country based on its overall score.
S&P Global Market Intelligence used six core financial metrics for the 12-month period ended December 31, 2016 to identify the best-performing U.S. community banks between $1 billion and $10 billion in asset size. The metrics used include pretax return on average tangible common equity, net charge-offs as a percentage of average loans, efficiency ratio, adjusted Texas ratio, net interest margin on a fully taxable equivalent basis and loan growth.
