New Leadership Energizes Ulmer & Berne’s Nationally Recognized Business Litigation Department

CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tapping its pipeline of trial-tested litigators, Ulmer & Berne is announcing that three accomplished partners will lead the firm’s respected Business Litigation Practice Group. Cleveland-based partners Jeffrey S. Dunlap and Paul R. Harris will serve as Co-Chairs alongside Cincinnati-based partner Robin D. Miller, who will act as Vice Chair.

Each of the partners focuses their practice on resolving complex commercial disputes for leading businesses across a range of industries. Mr. Dunlap brings 26 years of legal experience to his new position. Representing some of the largest banks and financial institutions in the country, Mr. Dunlap has established himself as a go-to litigator, particularly in complex commercial and employment disputes. Mr. Harris represents large publicly-traded and private businesses in hotly contested commercial disputes. Rising to meet challenges with enthusiasm and professionalism well ahead of peers his age, Mr. Harris established himself as a successful trial lawyer relatively early in his career. Similarly, Ms. Miller boasts an impressive list of favorable jury verdicts in complex commercial trials addressing causes of action involving fraud, breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation, and other disputes. Together, the three partners account for over 50 years of legal experience and carry a lengthy list of accolades from various legal publications, including Best Lawyers in America and Ohio Super Lawyers.

Mr. Dunlap earned his B.S., with distinction, from Cornell University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. Mr. Harris received his B.A., summa cum laude, from The Ohio State University, an M.B.A., with distinction, from the University of London Royal Holloway, and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School. Ms. Miller earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from Ohio University and her J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law, where she was the Executive Editor of the Law Review.
