Nations Roof Promotes Jeff Hundley to Chief Operating Officer

Longtime Nations Roof leader to focus on operational consistency, customer value and scalable growth across the national commercial roofing organization

MOBILE, Ala., Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nations Roof, a leading commercial roofing contractor serving customers across the United States, today announced the promotion of Jeff Hundley to Chief Operating Officer. Hundley, who joined Nations Roof in 2017, will oversee the company's Operations organization and help lead its next phase of growth.

Hundley's promotion reflects Nations Roof's commitment to developing leaders from within the organization and placing experienced operators in positions where they can have an enterprise-wide impact. During his nearly nine years with Nations Roof, Hundley has held roles spanning field operations, estimating, project management and business unit leadership, giving him firsthand experience across multiple aspects of the commercial roofing business.

Most recently, Hundley led Nations Roof's XL Business Unit, building it into a highly effective and reliable operation with a strong track record in safety, customer relationships, operational discipline and data-driven decision-making.

"Jeff understands this business from the field to the financials, and he understands what our customers expect from Nations Roof," said Robby Speights, Chief Executive Officer of Nations Roof. "He has proven that he can build strong teams, make smart business decisions and execute at scale — whether we are supporting a large, complex project or taking care of a smaller customer need that matters just as much to that customer. As we continue to grow, delivering a consistent experience across our teams and locations becomes even more important. Jeff is the right leader to help us do that while finding new ways to create value for our customers."

As Chief Operating Officer, Hundley will focus on increasing consistency, accountability and execution across Nations Roof's operations while maintaining the local responsiveness that customers depend on. His priorities will include strengthening operational standards, helping teams share proven practices across the organization, developing leaders and ensuring local teams have the resources and support needed to serve customers safely and effectively.

"We already have the foundation that matters most: talented people, strong customer relationships and significant opportunity ahead of us," Hundley said. "My focus is on helping our teams capture more of that opportunity by making sure every part of the organization has what it needs to bid well, win the right work and execute safely and the way our customers expect — every time. We don't need to change who Nations Roof is. We need to keep getting better at how we deliver it, together."

Hundley brings nearly two decades of commercial roofing experience to the role. Prior to joining Nations Roof, he spent eight years in the industry with experience across estimating and field operations for a large national roofing company. Before entering commercial roofing, he spent approximately 15 years in construction, primarily in hands-on field operations. He holds a B.S. in Construction Engineering and Management from North Carolina State University.

His appointment also reflects Nations Roof's commitment to creating opportunities for employees to grow their careers within the company. As Nations Roof continues to expand, the company is focused on developing leaders, investing in its teams and creating pathways for employees to take on greater responsibility across the organization.

"Our ability to grow depends on our ability to grow people," Speights added. "Jeff's career at Nations Roof is a strong example of the opportunities that exist here for people who want to learn, lead and take on bigger challenges. We are continuing to invest in our teams, and we want talented people across the industry to see Nations Roof as a place where they can build a career."

Hundley will continue leading the XL Business Unit through the end of the year as Nations Roof completes a thoughtful leadership transition.
