Nations Roof Acquires Preferred Roofing Services

The strategic acquisition expands Nations Roof's presence in the Midwest and adds experienced team members in Cleveland and beyond.

BRASELTON, Ga., July 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Nations Roof LLC, a leading U.S.-based commercial roofing contractor, today announced its acquisition of Preferred Roofing Services, LLC, a commercial roofing provider operating in the Greater Cleveland area. This marks Nations' first acquisition in its ongoing strategy to expand its service offerings and geographic reach. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1973, Preferred Roofing Services has earned a strong reputation for providing high-quality commercial and industrial roofing services throughout Northeast Ohio— including Akron, Canton, and Youngstown—as well as select national accounts for over 50 years. The company's experienced team provides complete roof replacements, repairs, and preventive maintenance services.

The acquisition brings together Preferred's deep regional expertise and customer relationships with Nations Roof's national scale and service capabilities. This move further strengthens Nations Roof's position as a leading national provider of commercial roofing services and commitment to continued growth. Craig Hartman and Brian Miller will continue as President and Vice President of the company respectively.
