NPG Launches Educational Campaign to Bring Population Studies into U.S. Classrooms

Free Classroom Resources on Population Growth Now Available

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Negative Population Growth, Inc. (NPG) today announced the launch of its 2025-2026 Teacher Packet, a free educational resource now available to educators of grades 7-12 nationwide. The packets are designed to help teachers facilitate classroom discussions on U.S. population size, growth, and the resulting environmental and social impacts. Shipments will begin towards the end of September.

The Teacher Packet provides comprehensive, ready-to-use materials to integrate population issues into lesson plans. Each packet includes up-to-date Student Fact Sheets, a full-color U.S. population poster, a PowerPoint presentation to guide lesson plans on population issues, and a selection of NPG Forum papers that highlight the dangers of our nation's ever-increasing population. The Teacher Packet also includes a two-sided Activity Sheet for students. Featuring a word search and a crossword puzzle, this new hands-on exercise provides students with the opportunity to immediately apply knowledge gained from our Student Fact Sheets. These resources are designed to help students understand the real-world consequences of population dynamics.
