NEW HIRES BOLSTER T. ROWE PRICE'S EXPANDING INSURANCE BUSINESS

Mark Rose joins as Insurance Solutions Strategist; Chase Uhlein and Blayze Hanson appointed Senior Insurance Relationship Managers

BALTIMORE, Aug. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- T. Rowe Price, a global asset management firm and a leader in retirement, announced the addition of three new hires to help drive the continued growth of the firm's insurance business. Mark Rose, CFA^®, joins the fixed income division as an insurance solutions strategist and Chase Uhlein, CFA^®, and Blayze Hanson, CFA^®, join the Americas Institutional Business Development team as senior insurance relationship managers. Rose will report to Steve Boothe, Head of Global Investment Grade, Fixed Income, while Uhlein and Hanson will report to Ben Riley, Head of Insurance.

In his role as insurance solutions strategist in the fixed income division, Rose will leverage his deep insurance sector experience to support account management and business development across public and private credit strategies. Rose was formerly the chief investment officer of Argo Insurance Group, responsible for its investment portfolio, including strategic and tactical asset allocation, risk management, and oversight of its internal and external investments. Prior to Argo, Rose was a high yield credit analyst and member of the derivatives sales desk at Goldman Sachs. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and the U.S. Army Ranger School, and he has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation.

Uhlein joins T. Rowe Price as senior insurance relationship manager from J.P. Morgan, where he served as executive director of fixed income insurance solutions and worked for more than 12 years. He has extensive experience in servicing and selling within the general account segment of the insurance market. Uhlein earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Hamilton College. He also is a Series 7, 63, and 3 registered representative and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation.

Hanson brings significant industry expertise to his role as senior insurance relationship manager. He most recently served as vice president and insurance account manager at PIMCO, where he was deeply involved in insurance sales and service for over a decade. Hanson earned a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics from Loyola Marymount University and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California. He is a Series 7, 63, and 3 registered representative and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation.
