Neuberger Private Equity Partners Announces August Monthly NAV Update

Neuberger Private Equity Partners (NBPE), the $1.1bn1, FTSE 250, listed private equity investment company managed by Neuberger, today announces its 31 August 2026 monthly NAV estimate alongside its unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2026 (available here).
Highlights (31 August 2026)
- NAV per share was $28.13 (£20.75), a USD total return of 1.7% in the month, with performance principally driven by quoted holdings
- 100% of valuation information at 30 June 2026 or 31 August 2026 for quoted holdings
- On a constant currency basis, private valuations were up 3.0% in the second quarter and 2.7% year to date
- 2H 2026 dividend payment of $0.47 per share paid; annualised dividend yield of 3.3% of NAV and 4.7% on closing share price at 31 August 2026
- 869k shares repurchased (cost of ~$17.5 million) in August 2026 at a weighted average discount of 28% resulting in ~$0.17 NAV per share accretion in the month
- Year to date2, NBPE has repurchased 5.3m shares (cost of $105 million) at a weighted average discount of 29% resulting in $0.75 NAV per share accretion
- Continued balance sheet flexibility with $142 million of available liquidity at 31 August 2026
Year-to-date Investment Activity and Capital Returns (at 18 September 2026)
- Robust exit activity: $150 million of realisations announced with visibility of a further $68 million of proceeds from transactions yet to be announced
- Strong progress in refreshing the portfolio: $164 million of commitments to nine new investments
- $144 million of capital returned to shareholders through dividends and share buybacks, more than double the amount from the same period last year

Portfolio Update to 31 August 2026
NAV performance during the month primarily driven by changes in quoted holdings and FX
- 1.0% NAV increase ($11 million) from quoted holdings
- 0.3% NAV increase ($3 million) from foreign exchange movements
- 0.2% NAV increase ($2 million) from updated private company valuation information
- (0.3%) NAV decrease ($3 million) attributable to expense accruals
- 0.5% NAV increase attributable to share buybacks
Year to date announced realisations of $150 million, with visibility of a further $68 million of proceeds from transactions yet to be announced
- $3 million of proceeds received from Bending Spoons in connection with the company’s IPO received in August
- Year to date exits driven by the full sale of Solace and FDH Aero (announced), partial exit of Osaic, the partial exit of one undisclosed investment, the full exit of an undisclosed healthcare company (in-home devices), as well as other partial realisations from several quoted and private companies
- Visibility of a further $68 million of proceeds from transactions, yet to be announced, which we expect to close in the coming months
$114 million committed to six new investments year-to-date to 31 August 2026, with a further $50 million committed in September 2026
- No new investment commitments in August
- Up until 31 August 2026, $114 million committed to six new investments
- Additional $10 million of follow-on investments in existing portfolio companies
- A further $50 million committed to three new investments and an additional amount in an existing 2026 investment in September
Capital returns
- 2H 2026 Dividend of $0.47 per share ($19 million) paid on 29 August 2026
- Annualised dividend yield of 3.3% of NAV and 4.7% on closing share price at 31 August 2026
- ~869k shares repurchased in August 2026 at a weighted average discount of 28%; buybacks were accretive to NAV by ~$0.17 per share
- From 1 September 2026 to 18 September 2026 - a further ~1.5m shares repurchased at a weighted average discount of 29%, taking total capital returned to shareholders through dividends and share buybacks for the year to 18 September 2026 to $144 million, more than double the amount from the same period last year
Well positioned to take advantage of opportunities with $142 million of total liquidity at 31 August 2026
- $7 million of cash and liquid investments with $135 million of undrawn credit line available – an investment level of 115%
- Will continue to balance the pace of new investments with realisations and returns of capital to shareholders
