LOS ANGELES, Calif. - September 11, 2026 - The Michael Rasekhi Scholarship for Medical Students officially opens applications today to support the next generation of healthcare leaders across the United States. Designed to assist dedicated undergraduate pre-medical track students and current medical students, this competitive initiative rewards visionary individuals committed to addressing pressing challenges within the modern healthcare system and expanding access to quality care for communities in need.

The deadline to submit applications for this one-time award is January 15, 2027. Following a comprehensive review of all eligible submissions, the recipient of the scholarship will be officially announced on February 15, 2027.
