Melius Research Welcomes Coveted Energy and Power Analyst, James West

NEW YORK, July 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Melius Research (Melius), today announced that James West will join the firm as a Managing Director and Head of Energy and Power Research.

Mr. West was most recently a Senior Managing Director at Evercore, responsible for equity research coverage of the Sustainable Technologies & Clean Energy and the Oil Service, Equipment & Drilling industries. Prior to Evercore, Mr. West was a Managing Director at Barclays Plc and Lehman Brothers. He started his equity research career at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette in 2000. 

Mr. West holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
