The Asian Banker Summit, the region's largest annual gathering for senior executives in the financial services sector, will welcome more than 1,000 thought leaders and innovators from across the globe to Hong Kong to discuss the future of finance.

The Asian Banker Summit is several conferences in one, comprising of multiple complementary dialogues that reflect the complexity of today's industry dynamics. The Asian Banker's Leadership Achievement Awards, first introduced in 2005, recognise excellence in the financial services industry across the Asia Pacific region. The awards will be presented at a gala event on April 14th with guest of honour John Tsang, financial secretary of Hong Kong.

This year, The Asian Banker will present four awards, namely The Bankers' Choice Awards; The William "Bill" Seidman Lifetime Achievement Award (in honour of William Seidman, former chairman of the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation); The CEO Leadership Achievement Award in Asia Pacific; and Best Managed Bank in Asia Pacific.
