Mawson West Appoints Non-Executive Director

PERTH, AUSTRALIA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/05/15 -- Mawson West Limited (TSX: MWE) ("Mawson West" or the "Company") announces the appointment of Mr. Dennis Wilkins as a non-executive director of the Company effective August 3, 2015.

Mr. Wilkins' role as a non-executive director will be in addition to his duties as Corporate Secretary of the Company. The appointment follows the recent restructuring of the Company's Board of Directors and management team and provides an additional Australian-based (Perth) presence for the Company. Mr. Wilkins has served on various TSX listed exploration and mining companies over recent years and assisted in a variety of financings.
