Mak Studios publish their first game inspired ebook, Insurmountable Odds.
Chatteris, Cambridgeshire (PRWEB UK) 23 September 2015
Insurmountable Odds is the début eBook from Mak Studios, the first part of a new science-fiction trilogy set in the Dominium game universe.
20,000 years in the future, the trilogy, When Stars Fall, sets out a large chunk of the back-story behind the game universe, and takes the reader on a whirlwind journey through a civilisation battling against an implacable foe. Insurmountable Odds establishes the key characters and quickly picks up the pace with worlds being destroyed, and space battles aplenty. The tale takes us into a war which will tear the very fabric of their civilisation apart.
"After our Kickstarters failed to gain any momentum, we decided to try alternative ways of raising awareness and funds for the game project," said Malcolm Sparrow, Owner of Mak Studios. "We wanted to establish the lore behind the game universe, and Martin (Saunders) has taken us a long way with some quality writing. It's an all-rounder for any age sci-fi fan, and we hope it's a real crowd pleaser. We're excited to see how it will be received!"
Insurmountable Odds is available to buy now from Google Play and Amazon Kindle, with Apple iBooks to follow. Links to the stores may be found here, and a three chapter preview is also available.
Mak Studios is a small, independent game & app studio, and has been providing iOS application services, and consultancy to the business, entertainment and game industry for over five years. This is their first eBook self-publishing work.
