Macro Risk Advisors Fortifies Risk Groups

NEW YORK, March 2, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Macro Risk Advisors (MRA), a leading provider of global equity derivatives strategy and trade execution for institutional investors, today announced the growth of its team with the promotion of Pravit Chintawongvanich to Head of Risk Strategy. This senior appointment is part of an ongoing expansion effort at MRA, which will support its increasing client base and further establish new opportunities for unique talent.

In his new role, Mr. Chintawongvanich will oversee the development of analytics that help clients identify and better understand market and trading risk. In addition to leading the development of cutting edge tools that manage portfolio risk for institutional clients, he will also work with clients to select effective hedges and determine the most efficient way to express investment views through options.

Before joining MRA in 2013, Mr. Chintawongvanich worked at RBC Capital Markets as an associate on the equity derivatives trading desk, assisting in execution and pricing, and building tools to manage volatility data and price option structures. Mr. Chintawongvanich has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from New Mexico State University and a Masters in Mathematical Finance from the University of Toronto.
