MVC Capital Declares First Quarter 2019 Dividend

PURCHASE, N.Y., Dec. 21, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MVC Capital, Inc. (NYSE: MVC), a publicly traded business development company that makes private debt and equity investments, announced today that its board of directors declared a regular dividend of $0.15 per share. The dividend is payable on January 9, 2019 to shareholders of record on January 2, 2019. The distribution represents the fifty-fifth consecutive quarterly dividend paid by the Company since implementing a dividend policy in July of 2005. The cumulative dividends issued under current management total approximately $7.44 per share.  

The record date of this first quarter distribution is during calendar 2019 and will be reported on 1099-DIVs to shareholders following calendar 2019.
