From housing crisis to eco-crisis: Why Australia’s population growth is unsustainable

Venue: Regent Room, Box Factory, 59 Regent Street South, Adelaide
Keynote speaker: Leith van Onselen, Chief Economist and co-founder ofMacroBusiness, who writes as the Unconventional Economist. He will speak on “Australia’s immigration and the everything shortage”.
Supporting speaker: Dr Jane O’Sullivan, co-author of “The Housing Crisis is a Population Crisis”. She will speak on “Albanese’s immigration overhaul: No relief in sight despite ‘sustainable immigration’ pledge.”
Chair: Newly elected SPA national president Peter Strachan. He will talk about SPA’snew campaign ‘Say NO to Big Australia!’ that includes its Position Statement which has amassed nearly 3000 signatures.
The public meeting is free and includes afternoon tea at 3.30pm.
