Loulou Lollipop Appoints James Connell as Chief Executive Officer

VANCOUVER, BC, Oct. 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Loulou Lollipop, a B-Corp certified children's lifestyle brand, is pleased to announce the appointment of James Connell as its new Chief Executive Officer. Connell will assume leadership of the company's strategic, operational, and growth activities with a heightened focus on brand narratives in merchandising and marketing.

James Connell first joined the leadership team at Loulou Lollipop in September 2024 as Chief Operating Officer & Chief Marketing Officer, where he played an instrumental role in elevating ecommerce, refining marketing, and renewing product design strategy.

Prior to joining Loulou Lollipop, Connell brought over 20 years of experience in global apparel, retail, e-commerce, and brand leadership. In his previous role as Chief eCommerce and Customer Experience Officer at Roots, he oversaw marketing, creative services, customer experience, and digital strategy, helping propel the brand into a global Canadian icon. He has been honoured as the 2017 Canadian Marketer of the Year and has received awards such as the Salesforce Trailblazer Award and the Excellence in Retailing Award for Technology. Additionally, he has provided advisory services to companies across North America and Asia.
