Loopback Analytics Wins Attendee Choice Poster Award at NASP Annual Meeting

DALLAS, Oct. 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Loopback Analytics announced that its research poster, "Identification of a Feasible, Evidence-Based Approach to Ulcerative Colitis Disease Assessment by Specialty Pharmacies," received the Attendee Choice Poster Award at the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP) Annual Meeting.

The poster shared findings from a Loopback research project in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), conducted with GI clinical pharmacists at leading academic medical centers in Loopback's network. The project identified practical, evidence-based ways to assess disease activity in ulcerative colitis, drawing on three components:

• Literature review of recommended assessment tools.
• Real-world data analysis across Loopback's network on actual use in practice.
• Evidence council of GI clinical pharmacists from Loopback's network on barriers, opportunities, and adoption strategies.

These perspectives showed that while structured tools like the Mayo Score are widely cited, they are inconsistently applied. Providers often rely on subjective symptoms such as rectal bleeding, underscoring the opportunity for specialty pharmacies within academic medical centers to help standardize assessments and support treat-to-target care.
