Knighthead Annuity Expands Sales Team with John Harrell

GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Knighthead Annuity & Life Assurance Company today announced the addition of John Harrell as EVP, Head of Sales & New Business. Working with other members of Knighthead Annuity’s existing executive team, Mr. Harrell will be responsible for the development and execution of the company’s fixed annuity sales and distribution strategies.

Mr. Harrell is a well-known insurance and investment industry veteran. He joins Knighthead Annuity from Russell Investments, where he was Director of Business Solutions for Bank Channel sales. Mr. Harrell successfully grew sales from zero to more than $2.5 Billion in five years, establishing the bank network as one of the most successful distribution channels for Russell Investments. Mr. Harrell formerly held senior sales positions at multiple financial services companies, such as Symetra Financial, Banco Popular, Sun Life Financial and Liberty Mutual.
