Kevin Jacobson Named CEO of Foxen as Multifamily PropTech Leader Scales
Company achieved more than 7x revenue growth over four years while expanding customer base and product offerings
With this appointment, Jacobson, who has been leading operations, will kick-start Foxen's next phase as the company expands its technology platform and customer base. Founder
"With apartment rent growth stagnant and supply remaining strong, there's a clear need for solutions that help property operators increase efficiency, differentiate in the market and drive ancillary revenue," said Jacobson, CEO of Foxen. "Foxen's technology and people-first approach delivers real impact for property owners, operators and residents alike. As we grow, our dedication to exceptional customer service and trust will remain central to who we are."
Over the past year, the company has expanded its solution for renters insurance compliance management with major platform enhancements powered by AI that enable seamless proof of insurance upload and near-instant verification. Using Foxen's technology, customers routinely achieve 100% renters insurance compliance, while reducing staff workload and eliminating confusion for residents. For example, property staff at a multifamily portfolio of 10,000 units would save an estimated 32 hours per week with Foxen's platform, giving them valuable time back to focus on maximizing resident satisfaction and retention.
Foxen also recently introduced two new products, WaiverCell and WaiverFlex, which allow customers with sophisticated risk management strategies to self-insure with a captive insurance company, and still enjoy the benefits of Foxen's powerful monitoring solution and wraparound services for residents and property staff. Foxen also offers Rentistry, a configurable rent reporting solution which reports rent payments to all three credit bureaus, encouraging on-time rent payments and increasing revenue for properties, while growing resident credit scores by up to 33 points on average.
"When we launched Foxen, our vision was to remove the risk of unexpected costs due to lapses in renters insurance compliance that property owners face, all while delivering actual value to residents, as well as property owners and operators," said Harkrider, founder and executive chairman of Foxen. "The growth we've seen over the last seven years proves our focus on innovation around the industry's most complex issues has struck a chord, and under Kevin's leadership, I'm confident he will take Foxen to the next level."
Throughout its rapid expansion, Foxen has more than quadrupled its customer base while earning a Better Business Bureau A- rating and continuing to dedicate over 50% of staff to customer experience and technological innovation.
"We were experiencing all of the pain points that Foxen solves. Compliance and efficiency were number one, but it really came down to the revenue," said
The company has several initiatives in development that will further enhance multifamily operations and resident experiences. As the first PropTech company to apply AI for real-time proof of insurance validation, Foxen continues to set the pace for innovation across the multifamily industry.
