Julieann E. Schroeder Receives the FPA of Minn. Distinguished Service Award

LA VISTA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Securities America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. (NYSE MKT: LTS), is pleased to announce the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota (FPA of Minn.) has awarded Julieann E. Schroeder its Distinguished Service Award.

Julieann is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) of USAdvisors Network and one of its top advisors as well as a registered representative of Securities America. She was honored with the award in recognition of her distinguished service as a CFP® practitioner and her volunteer work for the FPA.

Julieann has been an FPA member for 22 years. During that time, she has served as a director and chairwoman of the Minnesota board. She also mentored new members as a chapter guide, organized a free financial planning day for the public and has twice chaired and emceed the chapter’s two-day symposium. Both the symposium and the financial planning day events drew record attendance in 2015.

In addition to her volunteer work with FPA, Julieann is also active in her church and serves as a literacy volunteer in her local schools.

Julieann was nominated by the 896-member Minnesota state chapter for the Distinguished Service Award. That award is given out only when a qualified individual is recognized by FPA. As a recipient, she will be nominated by the Minnesota Chapter for FPA’s national Heart of Financial Planning Award, which will be presented in October 2016.
