Insurance Industry Leader Martin Sullivan Named Chairman of MSIG USA Board

NEW YORK, Sept. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- MSIG USA, a leading provider of specialty commercial insurance, today announced that Martin J. Sullivan OBE, a recognized leader in the global insurance industry, has been appointed chairman by the board of MSIG Holdings (U.S.A.), Inc.

Sullivan's appointment marks a significant moment in MSIG USA's growth trajectory. With more than five decades of experience in insurance and financial services, he has led and advised some of the industry's most influential organizations. His career includes serving as president and chief executive officer of AIG Inc., deputy chairman of Willis Group Holdings plc, and, most recently, senior advisor at Lightyear Capital LLC, a New York–based private equity firm. He also currently chairs Hartford Underwriting Agency Ltd. and serves on several boards of Lightyear portfolio companies.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Sullivan has contributed broadly to the advancement of the insurance industry and international business. He has held senior roles with organizations such as British American Business, the Geneva Association, and the US-ASEAN Business Council, while also actively supporting educational and philanthropic initiatives in both the U.S. and the U.K.
