Insight Assurance Earns FedRAMP 3PAO Accreditation, Strengthening Federal Cloud Security Leadership

TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Insight Assurance, a global provider of audit and compliance services, today announced its accreditation as a Third-Party Assessment Organization (3PAO) under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP).

This accreditation authorizes Insight Assurance to conduct independent security assessments of cloud service providers (CSPs) pursuing cloud authorizations in the FedRAMP, Government Risk and Authorization Management Program (GovRAMP), and Department of Defense (DoD) cloud programs, a critical requirement for delivering secure cloud services to U.S. government, state, and DoD agencies. 

Technical leadership of the FedRAMP practice is overseen by Dr. Stephanie Carter, Head of Federal Cloud Compliance & Assessments, one of the industry's most seasoned FedRAMP experts. Over her 30+ year career, Dr. Carter has contributed to well over 100 FedRAMP authorizations, including 60–70 for Rev. 5 alone.  She has served in every role from project lead to lead assessor, compliance and technical advisor and reviewer, and contracted ISSO. She was instrumental in the seamless transition of more than 50 CSPs uplifting to Rev. 5 FedRAMP baselines, building security programs by developing and implementing program management for organizations and CSPs, and has been involved in shaping policy and best practices since the program's inception in 2011.
