Indigo Ag Introduces biotrinsic® Nemora FP™

Designed to fight SCN, the new biological bionematicide prevents eggs from hatching to protect yield without harming plants

BOSTON, Oct. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmers have a new weapon against soybean cyst nematode, biotrinsic® Nemora FP™, an EPA registered soybean bionematicide seed treatment from Indigo Ag, Inc. Available for Spring planting, Nemora's anti-hatch technology helps manage nematode pressure while maintaining strong yield potential—without phytotoxicity or halo effects seen with some chemical standards.

Nemora is a microbial seed treatment in flowable powder (FP) format for soybeans and is available for planter-box treatment or through Indigo's CLIPS delivery system. It contains a naturally occurring Pseudomonas oryzihabitans bacterium that colonizes roots and shoots. After only a few weeks, the microbes coating each seed multiply into the millions around the roots and begin supporting the crop. These microbes also colonize SCN eggs, disrupting hatch conditions and reducing the number of juveniles that hatch.

"Long-term management of SCN also requires a sustained effort in which success is monitored through periodic soil testing and adjustments in use of management tactics if soil test results indicate changes are warranted."

How Nemora works

• Nemora stimulates Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR) and forms a biofilm that supports robust root colonization.
• The biological colony prevents eggs on the roots from hatching, slowing the soybean cyst nematode lifecycle without disrupting beneficial nematodes in the soil.
• Once in the soil, the Pseudomonas active in Nemora recruits a diverse and specialized community of plant growth-promoting bacteria to aid in plant development.
