Huron Grows Healthcare Industry Expertise with Addition of C-Suite Executive

J Pegues’ expertise includes health system expansion, governance, Medicare-Medicaid, health plan development and deployment

Pegues will work with healthcare leaders to help transform their organizations through the design and implementation of new organizational structures, delivery systems and innovative care models to improve patient access, quality of care and profitability.

He most recently served as vice chancellor, chief operating and administrative officer at Louisiana State University, where he was responsible for all vision, strategy, planning, execution, operations and financial performance of the university’s Health Sciences Center. Pegues began his career in management consulting specializing in troubled company and Chapter 11 bankruptcy turnarounds.
