Hungary introduces a new "residence-by-investment"-program for third-country nationals

Both investment types must be maintained for a minimum of five years. While the properties can be sold after this period, the residence permit remains valid until the end of its initial 10-year term. To apply for an extension, a qualifying investment must be in place at the time of renewal.
