Hop on! The Autonomous RoboBus Hits the Road

Have you ever ridden a bus without a driver?
On
The RoboBus on the line was developed and manufactured by PIX Moving, using pure electric power system and panoramic glass body design. It has a rated capacity of 6 passengers and level 4 autonomous driving. The bus features a symmetrical design. There's no front or back. With a smooth, rounded body resembling a big potato, paired with futuristic silver-gray paint,it's called the "Potato Bus".
Step into the bus, traditional driving elements like the steering wheel and pedals are gone. In their place are four digital screens, displaying speed, traffic, map, and stop announcements.
The body of the bus is equipped with LiDAR, ultrasonic radars, and cameras, providing a 360-degree view with no blind spots. Like the eyes of a driver, these sensors monitor the surroundings, detect traffic in real-time, and send this data to the control system, which acts as the brain, powered by AI control algorithms. The "brain" processes incoming sensor data, then generates intelligent driving strategies. So the bus operates like an experienced driver. It can read traffic lights, dodge obstacles, even yield to pedestrians, ensuring a safe journey every time.
The entire route is 5 kilometers, with a commute time of 15 to 20 minutes, connecting multiple campuses, bringing a smart travel experience to students, faculty, and nearby residents.
