BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- HighVista Strategies, LLC, a Boston-based investment firm with a consistent track record of generating attractive returns by applying the principles of endowment investing, today announced that Edmund A. Hajim has been appointed Chairman of the firm. Mr. Hajim has a distinguished career comprised of senior positions in investment banking, investment management and hedge fund management. Most recently, Mr. Hajim was the President of Diker Management, LLC, a New York City-based investment management firm. Mr. Hajim has served for the past six years on the Advisory Board of HighVista Strategies, a role that was aided by his experience in endowment management garnered over a fifteen-year term as Chairman of the Investment Committee at the University of Rochester.
