In a keynote address at the RetailNOW 2015 conference hosted by the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA), Heartland Chairman and CEO Robert Carr will question the status quo and demonstrate how small-to-mid-size business (SMB) merchants—with the right point-of-sale (POS) platform and tools—can level the playing field against larger multi-location competitors. |

He will challenge them to leverage data, understand true interchange fee costs, recognize “junk” fees, select a payment processor that is transparent about “junk” fees and pricing, and get Europay MasterCard and Visa (EMV) compliant with effective tokenization, end-to-end encryption and out-of-scope technologies. | |||
