Heart to Heart Hospice Programs Named 2025 Hospice Honors Recipients

Texas sites in Beaumont and Midlothian recognized; Southwest Indiana earns Elite status

PLANO, Texas, Aug. 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Heart to Heart Hospice, one of the country's largest private providers of hospice care, announced that three of its programs have been awarded 2025 Hospice CAHPS Honors for "going above and beyond" in providing quality, compassionate patient care.

Heart to Heart Hospice of Midlothian, Texas, and Heart to Heart Hospice of The Gulf Coast in Beaumont, Texas, both earned the prestigious Hospice Honors. Heart to Heart Hospice of Southwest Indiana, located in Jasper, Ind., achieved additional recognition as a Hospice Honors Elite recipient.

The annual Hospice CAHPS Honors spotlight high-performing hospice agencies that continuously deliver quality care as measured by patient and caregiver experiences. The program is based on satisfaction scores by the Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) and exclusively recognizes hospice agencies that have chosen to work with MatrixCare to administer their hospice surveys.

Hospice CAHPS Honors are awarded to hospices that score above the MatrixCare National Performance Score on at least 20 of the 24 evaluated questions which serve as quality indicators. MatrixCare holds a special recognition, Hospice Honors Elite, for hospices scoring above its National Score on 100%, or all 24, of the questions.
