Galaxy Z Fold8 Earns 'CR Recommended' Distinction from Consumer Reports
Galaxy Z Fold8 joins Galaxy S26 Ultra in Consumer Reports' latest recognition of Galaxy devices
The device was evaluated across categories users are looking for in a foldable experience including reliability, camera quality, and battery and charging.
The recognition comes as interest continues to grow in Samsung's eighth generation foldables. Combined purchases of Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Z Fold8 have tracked 30% ahead of the previous Z Fold generation, and the two models make up roughly 80% of Galaxy Z series purchases. Galaxy Z Flip8 has drawn a higher share of buyers switching from other smartphone brands than any previous Z Flip, most of whom are first-time foldable owners.
The designation for the Galaxy Z Fold8 adds to the independent, third-party recognition of Samsung's flagship smartphone designs after Galaxy S26 Ultra was recognized as Consumer Reports' top-rated phone earlier this year.
Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8, Z Flip8, and the Galaxy S26 series are available now at Samsung.com and from carriers and retailers nationwide.
