GTJ REIT Announces the Death of Board Member Joseph F. Barone

WEST HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GTJ REIT (GTJ), a public non-traded real estate investment trust based in West Hempstead, NY, announces with great sadness that Joseph F. Barone, a respected and valued member of the GTJ board of directors since 2009, passed away on February 6, 2018. Mr. Barone had a long and successful career in financial services, most recently serving as President of Insurance Financial Services, a provider of a wide variety of insurance- industry services. He previously served in senior roles at Swiss Reinsurance Services, Bear Stearns and Salomon Brothers.
