Funeral Directors: We're Good at Goodbyes

The New York State Funeral Directors Association, Inc. (NYSFDA), is excited to present their multi-faceted public awareness campaign, "Good at Goodbyes."

The campaign's message is that a NYSFDA member funeral director will help consumers by making things easier during a difficult time, taking care of the details and creating a celebration of life that's as unique as the person being remembered. It also reinforces that preplanning with a funeral director can instill the comfort and confidence that comes with being prepared.

The campaign covers print, social and digital media including Hulu, Pandora, Facebook and Google.

Consumers are directed to the campaigns microsite, http://www.FuneralsMatter.com where users will find information about getting their affairs in order; planning a funeral; coping with grief; helping a loved one plan ahead; or access helpful articles.

"I believe we've created a campaign that is personal, informative and told in a compelling way," says Michael Lanotte, Executive Director of NYSFDA. "Our funeral directors are advisors, counselors and planners who comfort families during a very difficult time.
