Frankenmuth Insurance Names Curtis Williams Vice President

Curtis Williams has been named Vice President of Information Technology at Frankenmuth Insurance, effective June 2, 2023. With this promotion and appointment by the Board of Directors of Frankenmuth Insurance, Williams will oversee Information and Portal Services, Information Services, Architecture and Data Services, and Technical Services.

Williams has been with Frankenmuth Insurance for 27 years and most recently served as the Director of Technical Services. During his tenure, Williams has been responsible for technical architecture, disaster recovery, network infrastructure, voice communications, mainframe systems, computer operations, database administration, information security, systems administration, and service desk functions. He also serves as the company's Chief Information Security Officer and is responsible for its information security program, in compliance with information security regulations.

Williams holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from East Tennessee State University. Serving as an information technology expert, Williams is a member of the SecureWorld advisory council and serves as an advisory committee member of the Saginaw Career Complex Information Technology and Cybersecurity Program. Additionally, Williams served on the board of the Property Liability Association for New Systems for nine years and is a past president.
