Fitch Withdraws Ratings on Two Classes of Newcastle CDO VIII

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fitch Ratings has withdrawn ratings on two classes of Newcastle CDO VIII 1, Ltd./Newcastle CDO VIII 2, Ltd./Newcastle CDO VIII, LLC (collectively, Newcastle CDO VIII). A full list of the withdrawn classes follows at the end of this press release.

KEY RATING DRIVERS

The rating withdrawals are the result of note cancellations. The noteholders surrendered these notes to the trustee for cancellation.

RATING SENSITIVITIES

The transaction has been fully liquidated at the June 2015 payment date. All classes have either been paid in full or cancelled.

DUE DILIGENCE USAGE

No third party due diligence was provided or reviewed in relation to this rating action.

Fitch has withdrawn the following ratings:

--Class XI at 'CCCsf; RE 0%;

--Class XII at 'CCsf; RE 0%.

The class S, I-A, I-AR, I-B, II, III, V, VIII, IX-FL, IX-FX, and X certificates have paid in full. The ratings on classes IV, VI, and VII were previously withdrawn. Fitch does not rate the Preferred Shares.
