Fitch Withdraws Holy Spirit Health System (PA) Rating

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fitch Ratings has withdrawn its 'BBB+' rating on Holy Spirit Hospital of the Sisters of Christian Charity (HSH) West Shore Area Hospital Authority (PA) series 2011 and 2011B.

On Oct. 1, 2014, Geisinger Health System Foundation (Geisinger) became the corporate parent of Holy Spirit Health System and all its affiliates, including HSH (HSHS), and HSHS was consolidated into Geisinger financial reporting.

Pursuant to an approval of the majority of par of the series 2011 and 2011B on Dec. 19, 2014 and Jan. 30, 2015, respectively, the Geisinger master trust indenture was substituted for the HSH master trust indenture. Geisinger is not rated by Fitch and Fitch will no longer have sufficient information to maintain the ratings. Accordingly, Fitch will no longer provide ratings or analytical coverage for HSH.
