Fitch Updates U.S. Public Power Rating Criteria

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fitch Ratings has updated its sector-specific rating criteria titled 'U.S. Public Power Rating Criteria'. Fitch does not expect that the report, which replaces existing criteria of the same name published on March 18, 2014, will result in any rating changes.

The updated criteria report should be read in conjunction with Fitch's 'Revenue-Supported Rating Criteria,' published June 16, 2014. The latter global master criteria report details how Fitch assigns ratings to revenue-supported obligations and entities in the broader public finance sector.
