WASHINGTON, N.C., Jan. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- First South Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSBK) (the "Company"), the parent holding company of First South Bank (the "Bank"), reports that on January 28, 2016 the Company's Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.025 per share, payable February 17, 2016 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on February 8, 2016. 

First South Bank has been serving the citizens of eastern and central North Carolina since 1902 and offers a variety of financial products and services to business and individual customers. The Bank operates through its main office headquartered in Washington, North Carolina, and currently has 33 full service branch offices located throughout eastern and central North Carolina.
